This is a calculator, not a dosing instruction. It does only arithmetic on the numbers you enter and may be wrong. Re-check every figure and confirm it against your physical product before drawing or injecting anything. Do not rely on this output alone.

How the maths works

Three steps of arithmetic, the same three the calculator shows you. It works on the numbers you give it and nothing else.

  1. 1ConcentrationThe powder in the vial divided by the water you add. 10 mg in 2 mL is 5 mg in every millilitre.
  2. 2VolumeYour dose divided by that concentration. 1 mg at 5 mg/mL is 0.2 mL.
  3. 3UnitsAn insulin syringe is marked in units, and on a U-100 syringe 1 mL is 100 units. 0.2 mL is 20 units.

Track the whole protocol, not just the maths.

Trakabl keeps every compound, dose and injection site in one place, and counts your stock down as you go.
